About the Family

Hey! We are Mike and Leslie Patching owners of The Clamshell. If we had to choose sea creatures to illustrate who we are Mike is a lingcod and Leslie is an octopus. We love traveling, which is the reason we wanted to own and rent out a property. Besides traveling, we enjoy being on the water. We enjoy finding odd-ball places to explore and new food experiences. We absolutely love the San Juans and hope that you enjoy this beautiful part of Washington too!
